The eighth annual Great Giveaway drew roughly 750 kids and their families to Welcome All Park, where the focus wasn’t just on handing out supplies but on showing what’s possible when someone from the neighborhood makes it big and comes back.
The event delivered tangible support that families actually need right now.
Kids walked away with school supplies ready for the new year, groceries to stock their homes, and access to free health and dental checkups that many families can’t afford otherwise.

The Atlanta Hawks and College Park Skyhawks brought their own energy to the day, setting up sporting activities that let young people see athletic opportunity as something real and within reach.
What made this different from a typical giveaway was the message underneath it all. Gunna stood there and spoke directly to what he’s built and what he wants kids to understand about their own futures.
“It’s just for them to like get inspired cause I come from here, so they can do the same thing. You know what I mean? You can go play sports, you can go do music, you can go be a businessman, like, you know? It’s all opportunity,” he said. That’s not just words.
