Lil Durk’s federal murder-for-hire trial is not only courtroom arguments. A confrontation outside the trial may silence one of its most visible reporters.
Trap Lore Ross says the atmosphere outside the Los Angeles courtroom became so heated that federal court marshals had to intervene. Yep. Ross has been providing real time updates about the proceedings, but a single tweet got them boys made.
According to a report, Ross interpreted the defense strategy as placing responsibility on OTF Vonnie. We reported on this and this is basically fact. That interpretation move online, where some people began accusing Durk of cooperating with authorities. Ross pushed back against that characterization. Did that help?

“I never said he’s a snitch.”

That did not cool the temperature on him. Trap Lore Ross later claimed people associated with Durk’s team confronted him near the courtroom and demanded that he remove the post. They have been pressing homie all week, to be honest.
“I might take a break from tweeting. Durk’s team acting very unprofessional, screaming, ‘Delete the tweet’ in my face outside the courthouse room on the court room leading to court marshals having to step in,” he said.
Ross described the conduct as intimidating and deeply disappointing. Durk’s team had not provided its side of the story.
Durk’s supporters also dispute the mere idea that his defense is assisting prosecutors. Their argument is that the individual receiving blame had already spoken to authorities and admitted his own involvement. Durk’s lawyers are simply arguing that their client was not involved, not snitching on somebody.
Shouting at a journalist, is hardly a persuasive media strategy. It also won’t sway a judge.
The stakes surrounding Durk’s freedom could not be higher. Can independent reporters cover a trial like this and be safe? Diddy was not like this at all.
